No More Dirty Dog
Often business ideas are born from a solution to a problem. Mrs Mandy Davies identified a problem on her regular Cornwall’s coastal walk – she was disgusted to see plastic bags with dog poop being discarded randomly.
Mrs Davies come out with a solution for dog walkers to handle and store smelly plastic doggie poop bag, a responsible way to carry dog poop until they find a bin to dispose of it. Mrs Davies invented ‘The Dicky Bag’, together with her husband, fully committed to their project, quit their jobs, remortgaged their family home to concentrate on the production of Dicky Bag in Cornwell, a county in South West England.
The patented Dicky Bag offers a complete solution to handle dog poop. It contained fresh bags, a rubber sealed container to store the dog poop plastic bag until it can be disposed of. It even has inside air deodorizer to mask the unpleasant smell. The Dicy Bag is lightweight, washable, odourless and leak proof, it cost between £21 and £35.
Mrs Davies said she would be happy to pay someone £1 to take away the nasty plastic dog poop bag from her each time she walks her dog, but it will become an expensive exercise for she has done at least 1500 walks with her dog.
Mrs Mandy Davies hopes there will be no more dog poop tossers!
