Dogs never fail to give us something new to be surprised with. Harriet is just one of them. She works as an assistant dog librarian in Brooklyn Art Library. You might want to consider checking her out at her workplace if you’re nearby!
Harriet contributes a lot to the library. They wanted to showcase a unique vibe to it. Their goal is to make it more welcoming and comfortable for the readers and Harriet plays a big role for that.
She knows how to welcome people. Her way of saying “Hi” is barking, so don’t be confused or scared. She’s very friendly to all the readers and guests.
Steven Peterman, Harriet’s dad, has a dog named Cam before. He also helped them run the library. Unfortunately, Cam passed away. Steven and his wife were very devastated.
Luckily, after some time, Steven met Harriet. She was just a little puppy back then. She was rescued together with a litter of puppies. She’s the one who captured Steven’s attention.
Harriet was just this little adorable white dog who’s sweet and loving. Steven and his wife immediately fell in love with her. She’s destined to be with them.
When Harriet was growing up, she was slowly learning how the library works. She’s been through different training to be in the store. She’s been there since she was young and now her role is growing.
She’s leveling up, and the team knows exactly what to do. Everyone agreed to promote Harriet as an official dog librarian. And the best part is, they threw a “pawty” for her.
All of Harriet’s dog best friends were invited and her biological sister was also on the list. She’s really excited about it. It feels like she knew what’s happening.
Her party had tasty dog treats like cupcakes. She also had party caps, balloons and other decorations. And of course, her dad didn’t forget to make a sketch book of her paws and the other dogs who attended her party. It’s the library’s pride.
Harriet has been a really great help for everyone. She gives them never-ending happiness. That’s why she truly deserves everything.
